Extraction of underground fresh waters is carried out with the field Sauskan, Tuyesu for providing with drinking water Zhanaozen, the inhabited settlements of Senek, Kulanda, Kzyl-Sai, Ushtagan, Bostan and for production needs of an industrial zone.
The field of fresh waters of Tuyesu was reconnoitered in 1964-66 for water supply of oil fields and working settlements of the area. Operation of the field is carried out since 1967. In 1999 revaluation of operational reserves of fresh waters of the field is carried out. Size is water selection-7000-7500 cubic m/days. Extent of the main conduit from pump station of the field of Tyuesu to the city - 46 km. The general fund of the field makes 27 wells from which 23 wells at the moment work.
